Madison Square West Apartment

Custom seating area with large dining area in background

The client and her husband had moved back to Manhattan after raising their family in a large house in the suburbs. She wanted a chic, spare, city apartment. Lucy Harris designed an elegant homage to minimalism. She and her team combined custom furniture in jewel tones of blue and green with lighting in brass and bronze. A vintage mid-century French chaise, a special request for weekend naps, adds a lyrical element to the master bedroom. For a big impact we hired decorative artist Caroline Lizarraga to paint custom designs in the entry hall and powder room.
